DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Los Angeles Lakers overcame a 17-point deficit as they came back to beat the Pistons 121-116 in Detroit Sunday afternoon.
Los Angeles played most of the second half without LeBron James, who was ejected after hitting Pistons center Isaiah Stewart in the face during a box out attempt.
Jerami Grant scored a game-high 36 points for Detroit, which fell to 4-and-12. Rookie Cade Cunningham recorded his first career triple double with 13 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists.
The Pistons were outscored by 20 in the fourth quarter. The Pistons host the Miami Heat tomorrow.
