LANSING, MI — There’s a hunt for dozens of stolen guns in Eaton County. The county sheriff’s office says thieves stole 60 handguns from Range 517 on West Saginaw in Lansing during a break-in last week.
Investigators are remaining tight-lipped about just what was stolen. The gun shop’s owner is also not saying anything.
The sheriff’s office says it looks like the thieves broke-in through a backdoor in the early morning hours of last Friday. It’s not clear how the theives gained access to so many guns once inside Range 517.
