LANSING MI (WKZO AM/FM) – As some Michigan residents discovered this morning…fall may be in full swing, but winter is attempting to make an early appearance.
As we await the first real substantial snowfall, the Michigan Department of Transportation wants motorists to know that they know as well, and are prepared and ready for Mother Nature’s worst.
Mark Geib, a spokesperson for MDOT, said in a press release that Michigan drivers should take comfort with the knowledge that MDOT has the personnel and materials at the ready, and that the equipment is ready to go.
MDOT continues to hire seasonal drivers as winter approaches, and expects to have a full complement of drivers for the upcoming season.
