DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Things continue to get worse for the Detroit Lions. The Philadelphia Eagles smoked Detroit 44-6 in the Motor City Sunday.
Philadelphia rushed for 236 yards, as Boston Scott and Jordan Howard each rushed for two touchdowns. The Eagles recorded six sacks and Darius Slay returned a fumble 33 yards for a score.
Scoring was hard to come by for the Lions, but T.J. Hockenson contributed with 10 catches for 89 yards and Jermar Jefferson ran for a touchdown.
Jared Goff threw for just 222 yards.
The Lions enter their bye week at 0-and-8.
