WILMINGTON, Del. (Reuters) – U.S. President Joe Biden on Monday said weekend discussions with Democratic Senator Joe Manchin went well and that he hopes to have a spending deal before next week’s G20 climate talks in Glasgow.
“It went well,” he told reporters as he departed Wilmington, Delaware en route to New Jersey. They have a few more things to work out, he said, “but it went well.”
