Jake Moody kicked a game-winning field goal as the University of Wolverines beat Nebraska 32-29. Michigan is 6-and-0 and moved up a spot to number-seven in the latest Coaches Poll.
Kenneth Walker III rushed for 223 yards and a touchdown in Michigan State University’s 31-13 win over Rutgers. The Spartans are undefeated at 6-and-0. They jumped two spots to number-nine in the Coaches Poll.
Western Michigan University lost at home to Ball State 45-20 as the Cardinals outscored the Broncos 28-3 in the second half. Eastern Michigan defeated Miami of Ohio 13-12 and Central Michigan defeated Ohio 30-27.
Georgia is the new number-one team in the country after Alabama’s historic loss to Texas A&M on Saturday. The Bulldogs claimed the number-one spot in this week’s Top-25 Coaches Poll, their first number-one ranking since 2008.
