DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The University of Michigan and Michigan State University hockey teams will take to the ice at Little Caesars Arena for the Duel in the D February 12, 2022.
This is the fifth Duel in the D event and marks the return of Wolverines and Spartans hockey to Detroit. Both teams skated in the Great Lakes Invitational tournament in the city from 1965 through 2019.
The GLI was cancelled in 2021 due to Covid-19 and will be held at campus sites this year.
