MINNEAPOLIS, MN (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Tigers scored two runs in the ninth inning before Robbie Grossman struck out to end the game with the game-tying run at first during a 3-2 loss to the Twins at Target Field last night.
Akil Baddoo and Jonathan Schoop hit back-to-back RBI singles in the ninth to drive in Detroit’s only two runs.
Tyler Alexander had a strong start, allowing just one run over six innings, but he was tagged with his fourth loss.
