JACKSON COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Police in Jackson have confirmed that a woman who died in a recent fatal crash is from Kalamazoo, according to a report from MLive Tuesday.
The crash occurred Friday, September 24 in Henrietta Township near Kennedy Road and Bunkerhill Road, according to the report.
The driver was identified by Michigan State Police as 28-year-old Jasmine Watkins-Maze of Kalamazoo.
Police say Watkins-Maze was driving northbound on Bunkerhill Road before her vehicle crashed near Henrietta Township Hall.
She was ejected from the vehicle and later died from her injuries.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
