ALLEN PARK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Lions have placed wide receiver Tyrell Williams on injured reserve with a concussion.
Williams was injured in a helmet-to-helmet hit in the season opener against San Francisco.
The Lions also placed kicker Austin Seibert on the Covid-19 reserve list. If he can’t play on Sunday, kicker Ryan Santoso is likely to be promoted from the practice squad.
Lions head coach Dan Campbell has confirmed that the team is looking to trade veteran linebacker Jamie Collins Sr. Campbell said yesterday that they have suitors right now, but they’re not necessarily putting a timetable for the trade.
Collins is in his 10th season in the NFL and in his second year with Detroit.
