TAYLOR, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A Taylor High School student has been caught with a loaded pistol in his fanny pack after the 15-year-old allegedly threatened a security guard. Detective Alex Stellini describes the teen’s threats.
“He starts becoming belligerent with them, uses profanity, and mentions that he is going to shoot the security guard while making a shooting gesture with his hand.”
Police found the gun after taking the teen and his mother back inside the school when he was trying to leave with her. She became furious with her son in the body camera video, asking him if he realized she could be arrested for his actions. The serial number on the pistol had been scratched off.
