LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Workshops will be taking place over the next several weeks in Michigan to help various governments across the state navigate the American Rescue Plan Act, and get the most out of the money coming from it.
Local and tribal governments are earmarked to receive $150 billion through the Coronavirus state and local fiscal recovery fund. The Michigan Association of Regions and the MSU Extension are seeking to assist local planners in getting the most out of the infrastructure windfall.
They’ll be doing it through a series of workshops providing the latest up-to-date information on federal guidelines to get the best return on American Rescue Plan act dollars invested.
