KALAMAZOO MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Western Michigan football head coach Tim Lester has tested positive for COVID.
In a statement, Lester had experienced some mild symptoms on Sunday, and that since he has been fully vaccinated, he is feeling OK.
According to university protocol, Lester will be away from the team until at least next week, but he will stay in contact virtually.
The Broncos will host San Jose State this Saturday at Waldo Stadium.
