MATTAWAN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Shortages abound in many areas as a result of the pandemic, with two West Michigan school districts reporting issues with food supplies.
The Mattawan Consolidated and Battle Creek Public districts are dealing with food shortages and that could impact the selection of food that they can provide.
Officials at both districts say that the shortages may result in certain items not being available as first thought, and those students and parents need to be aware that lunch offerings that are different from what is announced could affect those children who have food allergies.
