LOS ANGELES, CA (WKZO AM/FM) – Former Detroit Tiger Max Scherzer is joining a club only 18 other Major League Baseball pitchers have ever joined.
Scherzer Sunday fanned Eric Hosmer of the San Diego Padres for his 3,000 career strikeout. The Dodgers’ ace has won three Cy Young Awards and is an eight-time All-Star.
Los Angeles went on to win the game over San Diego 8-0.
