ST. JOSEPH, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – The Michigan Association of County Clerks has a new slate of officers for 2022.
During their annual conference, members elected Marc Kleiman of Menominee County as their new President, with the rest of the leaders consisting of Ann Marie Main of Presque Isle, Elizabeth Hundley of Livingston, Nancy Waters of Muskegon, Lori Martin of Clare, and Cheryl Kelly of Mason. Sharon Tyler from the host Berrien County, who is stepping down as the MACC President at year’s end, will remain on the Executive Committee as a Past President.
Also during the conference, clerks had educational breakout sessions on a variety of topics such as “Clean Slate” legislation, Concealed Pistol License application and renewal processing training, certification of vital records, and pending state legislation that affects their duties.
