EAST LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kenneth Walker III’s big Friday night is being honored by the rest of the Big Ten Conference.
The Spartans running back was announced as the conference’s offensive player of the week after rushing for 264 yards and four touchdowns in Michigan State University’s 38-21 win at Northwestern.
Despite leading the FBS in rushing yards and being tied for the scoring lead after one week, Walker lost out to Texas running back Bijan Robinson for the Walter Camp Football Foundation’s national player of the week award.
Walker and Michigan State host Youngstown State this Saturday.
