EAST LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan State University football head coach Mel Tucker has not yet named a starting quarterback for Friday’s season opener at Northwestern.
Tucker said yesterday that he doesn’t want to give their opponents any type of advantage.
Sophomore Payton Thorne and graduate transfer Anthony Russo are in the running to start under center for the Spartans this year.
