HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A 35-year-old Allendale man went by ambulance to Spectrum Health Butterworth after the Harley Davidson motorcycle he was driving collided with a deer, according to police.
The crash happened just after 4:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 6, 202, on 14th Avenue, just north of Lake Michigan Drive, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Nicholas Knott.
Wright/Tallmadge Fire Rescue responded to the scene. The motorcyclist had been wearing a helmet, according to Knott, but suffered serious injuries and went by Life EMS to the hospital.
