HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) — A missing 53-year-old man, Bret Douglas Theisen, who walked away from a Kalamazoo hospital “has been located by authorities.”
That’s the word late on Friday (Aug. 6, 2021) morning from Allegan County Sheriff’s Lieutenant Brett Ensfield in a department statement. Police say he left Bronson Methodist Hospital and may be trying to walk back to his residence in the Pullman and Grand Junction area, in southwest Allegan County. Theisen has memory loss issues, according to Sheriff’s Capt. Scott Matice, who issued the initial search request on Thursday evening.
Ensfield gave no further details as to the circumstances surrounding the spotting of Theisen or as to his condition.
