DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Pistons unveiled their plans to build the NBA’s first courtside club. The team released renderings of CURE Insurance Courtside Club, which will be built on the floor level at the baseline nearest the visitors bench. It will feature select amenities and will be available to people with courtside seats. The club is set to open for the 2021-22 season.
Meanwhile, Pistons forward Jerami Grant has rejoined the U.S. Men’s Basketball National Team. The forward played 11 minutes and scored five points in Team USA’s 83-76 win over Spain. Grant had entered the healthy and safety protocols last week amid COVID concerns among the American national team. Guard Bradley Beal was forced to leave the team, but Grant was able to return in time to be cleared for Tokyo.
