HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – Two new members are on board for the Hope College Board of Trustees.
Effective on July 1, 2021, these newcomers will serve for three-years on the panel that oversees the Holland-based institution of higher learning.
Andrew Ohm is the principal design strategist at Starbucks Coffee who received his bachelor’s degree from Hope in 2000.
Laura Paredes is an independent communications consultant with over 20 years of experience.
The Rev. Dr. Nathan Hart was reelected to a four-year term, and the Hope board retained Karl Droppers as its chair and Dr. Stephen Boerigter as secretary. Dr. Matthew Wixson is the new Board vice-chair, replacing Suzanne Shier. She, along with Rev. David Bast and Dr. Gerald Pillay, stepped down from the board.
Classes begin for the fall semester at Hope College on August 31st.
