HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — At least one person was seriously hurt in a Michigan fireworks-related incident. Just after 11 p.m. Sunday, July 4, 2021, first responders were dispatched to Ridgelawn Cemetery in Breckenridge, MI, on the report of a man hit, by an explosive firework, according toa police-radio dispatch.
Police on the scene reported the man had lost part of his leg below the knee, according to police-scanner chatter. The man was airlifted to an area hospital for treatment, his condition is unknown at this time.
