DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Don’t rule out Justin Verlander pitching in a Detroit Tigers uniform again.
The former Tigers great told the Detroit Free Press he could see a scenario where he returns to where it all started. Verlander said he loved his time in Detroit and could see a reunion if it’s the right move for him.
The pitcher is a free agent this winter but is working his way back from Tommy John surgery. Detroit traded Verlander to Houston in 2017.
