DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Robbie Grossman scored Akil Baddoo with a bunt as the Detroit Tigers clipped the Houston Astros 2-1 in 10 innings Sunday afternoon.
Tarik Skubal gave up just one run over seven innings. Gregory Soto got the win for Detroit, which has won two of their last three games.
Carlos Correa drove in the lone run for the Astros. Blake Taylor picked up the loss as Houston has lost two of three.
The Tigers visit Cleveland tonight for the start of a three game series. The opening pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m.
