LANSING, MI — Michigan’s Unemployment Insurance Agency is now taking appointment reservations for 12 local unemployment offices. That includes the mid-Michigan office in south Lansing. The offices have been closed since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The state says the appointments are for 15 minutes starting June 30th, but no walk-ins will be accepted. The agency expects to serve roughly 900 people a day.
For an appointment, log on to Michigan.gov/UIA. You can not call the unemployment agency to secure an in-person appointment.
