DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Pato O’Ward passed Josef Newgarden with three laps to go and he went on to win the second of two IndyCar Series races at Detroit’s Belle Isle by over six seconds. O’Ward grabbed the series point lead with Sunday’s victory and became the series’ first two time winner of the season.
Newgarden was second while Alex Palou was third.
Marcus Ericsson won the first “Duel in Detroit” race on Saturday.
