DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Former Michigan State University basketball star Keith Appling remains in the Wayne County Jail without bond on a first-degree murder charge.
He pleaded not guilty yesterday at his arraignment and was denied bond. Appling was also ordered to have no contact with 28-year-old girlfriend Natalie Banister, who is also charged.
His next court appearance is June 22 for a probable cause conference.
