ALLEN PARK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The National Football League has suspended Detroit Lions second-year defensive lineman Jashon Cornell for the first three games of the season for violating the league’s substance abuse policy.
The seventh-round pick out of Ohio State University missed his rookie season with a torn Achilles tendon. Cornell will still be able to participate in off season and preseason activities with the team.
