ALLEN PARK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Lions have waived defensive tackle John Atkins, one day after signing DT Brian Price.
Atkins was originally signed by Detroit as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia in 2018. He opted out of the 2020 season due to COVID-19.
The Lions inked Price to replace lineman Joel Heath after he reportedly tore his ACL last week.
