COLUMBUS, OH (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Red Wings earned a point, but lost to the Blue Jackets 1-0 in a shootout last night in Columbus.
Netminder Thomas Greiss made 33 saves before allowing two goals in the shootout. 2018 first-round pick Joe Veleno had two shots in his NHL debut for Detroit.
The red Wings visit the Carolina Hurricanes tomorrow night.
