CHICAGO, IL (WKZO AM/FM) – Three different Tigers homered as Detroit beat the White Sox 5-2 in Chicago Tuesday night.
Miguel Cabrera, Jonathan Schoop, and Niko Goodrum all homered for Detroit. Jose Urena gave up just two runs over seven innings to get the win for the Tigers, who snapped a five-game skid.
The White Sox briefly took a 2-1 lead after a fielder’s choice and a throwing error. Lucas Giolito gave up four runs over six and two thirds innings for Chicago, which had a four-game win streak snapped.
The Tigers won despite committing five errors.
