DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Tigers were beaten by the Minnesota Twins 3-2 yesterday at Comerica Park.
Starter Matthew Boyd was charged with the loss, giving up three runs while striking out eight in seven innings. Wilson Ramos had a solo home run and Akil Baddoo collected his seventh RBI of the season.
The Tigers had two runners thrown out at home plate in the bottom of the sixth inning.
Detroit, now 3-3 on the season, opens a ten-game road trip beginning in Cleveland tomorrow night.
