ALLEN PARK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – New Detroit Lions defensive lineman Michael Brockers is apologizing to new Lions quarterback and former Rams teammate Jared Goff.
After the Rams acquired QB Matthew Stafford from Detroit, Brockers told TMZ that the team had taken a level up at the position. Not long after, Brockers was also traded to the Lions and reached out to Goff to explain that he was just trying to pump up the Rams’ fan base, not take a dig at him.
Goff said on local Detroit radio Monday that Brockers did reach out to him and he understands the situation and there are no hard feelings.
