LAKELAND, FL (WKZO AM/FM) – The Tigers are off to a winning start in Florida. They kicked off Grapefruit League play with a 10-2 rout of the Phillies in seven innings in Lakeland.
Willi Castro, Daniel Pinero and Eric Haase all homered for Detroit.
Tyler Alexander started and got the win.
