HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — One adult male was hurt in a Wednesday afternoon house fire, according to Holland Fire Marshal Bret Groendyke.
Firefighters were called to the scene, a two-story home at 414 Maple Ave. in the City of Holland, just after 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2021. Groendyke said the cause of the fire is under investigation, with the state police fire investigators requested. (See the photo gallery.)
Groendyke said homeowners should check their smoke detector batteries to ensure they are fresh — and make sure to have smoke detectors on every floor of a home, especially one in each bedroom.
Park Township firefighters assisted at the scene. This story will be updated when more information becomes available.
