HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Saugatuck resident Justin Ray Williams, 26, has been sentenced on charges of criminal sexual conduct (CSC) and child sexually abusive material (CSAM), according to the Michigan State Police (MSP) Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force’s email to media.
Williams pleaded guilty on On Jan. 11th, 2021, to first-degree CSC and was sentenced to 18 years 9 months to 50 years. Williams also pleaded guilty to aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material and was sentenced to 7 years 11 months to 25 years on that charge. His earliest release date is Nov. 16, 2054, according to state records.
Williams’ case was prosecuted by the Allegan County Prosecutor’s Office.
The investigation started with MSP’s Fifth District Computer Crimes Unit when a suspect was found to be in possession of the abusive material as well as manufacturing it. Police used a warrant and searched Williams’ home, seizing digital evidence and rescuing two children under the age of 13.
