EAST LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan State University men’s team remains at number four, while the University of Michigan is ranked 24th in their return this week to the Coaches College Basketball Poll.
MSU improved to 6-and-0 on the season following a 109-91 win over Oakland Sunday.
Michigan is ranked 25th. The Wolverines are also unbeaten with a 6-and-0 record after a 62-58 victory over Penn State on Sunday in their Big Ten opener.
Michigan center Hunter Dickinson has been named Big Ten Freshman of the Week for the second week in a row. Dickenson averaged 19 points, seven rebounds and 3.5 blocks per game in wins over Toledo and Penn State. He scored 20 points and grabbed seven rebounds in his first start for the Wolverines against the Nittany Lions.
