WASHINGTON D.C. (WKZO AM/FM) – Former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, who appeared last Wednesday at a lengthy presentation before the Michigan House Select Oversight Committee looking into the November 3 Presidential election, says he is feeling okay as he battles the coronavirus in a Washington D.C. hospital. The 76-year-old, who is currently President Trump’s personal lawyer, was admitted to Georgetown Hospital on Sunday.
President Trump tweeted this weekend that Giuliani caught the virus and then wished him a speedy recovery.
On Thursday, Giuliani was in Georgia asking state lawmakers to overturn the November election.
According to a release from the Trump campaign, Giuliani tested negative twice immediately preceding his trip to Arizona, Michigan, and Georgia, and did not experience any symptoms or test positive for COVID-19 until more than 48 hours after his return.
No legislators in any state or members of the press are on the contact tracing list, under current CDC Guidelines
Giuliani’s son Andrew reportedly came down with the coronavirus in late November.
