WASHINGTON D.C. (WKZO AM/FM) – An iconic brand of champagne is getting quite a few hits on Twitter, after several Michigan Republican lawmakers were seen drinking it at the Trump International Hotel in Washington.
State Senator Mike Shirkey, State House Speaker Lee Chatfield, and State Rep. Mike Lilly were photographed drinking Dom Perignon in the hotel’s lobby, and were also not wearing face masks.
A spokesperson for Governor Whitmer’s office tweeted a comment, saying to imagine the reaction if the Governor had been photographed doing that and not wearing a mask.
