DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – After an active NBA Draft night, the Detroit Pistons continue to make moves by acquiring Dewayne Dedmon from the Atlanta Hawks.
According to reports, Detroit will send Tony Snell and Khyri Thomas to Atlanta to complete the deal. Dedmon averaged 5.8 points and 5.7 rebounds per game while splitting time with the Sacramento Kings and the Hawks last season.
University of Michigan guard Zavier Simpson has signed with the Los Angeles Lakers as an undrafted free-agent. The deal could result in a regular-season or two-way contract, or could expire at the end of training camp.
Simpson averaged 12.9 points, 7.9 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game with the Wolverines last season.
