(Reuters) – Eta regained hurricane strength on Wednesday off the southwestern coast of Florida and was expected to make landfall on Thursday, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) said.
The category 1 hurricane was about 170 miles (270 km) south southwest of Tampa, Florida, with maximum sustained winds of 75 miles per hour (120 kph), the NHC added.
