Stafford should be able to return to Lions lineup for Sunday’s game

MINNEAPOLIS, MN (WTVB) – The Detroit Lions will play the Vikings Sunday in Minnesota.

Detroit is 3-and-4 after last Sunday’s home loss to the Colts. All three of the Lions’ wins this season have come on the road.

QB Matthew Stafford is still on track to play with continued negative COVID tests.

Another Lions player is now on the COVID-19 reserve list. Practice squad safety Jalen Elliott was added to the list yesterday, the third straight day for a Lions player. Quarterback Matthew Stafford and linebacker Jarrad Davis were previously put on the COVID list.
