DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Pistons could be back playing before Christmas. ESPN reports and league and union will hold separate meetings today that is expected to culminate in an agreement to start the 2020-21 season on December 22nd. The NBA would play a reduced 72-game regular season. The league has stressed the financial ramifications if the season doesn’t start before Christmas. It also will help get the NBA back on its October through June schedule for the 2021-22 season.
