LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – For the first time, the Michigan Christmas Tree will come from the state’s capital city.
Officials in Lansing say the 58-foot blue spruce was donated by Larry and Annette Moshkosky, and was put in place on Saturday at the intersection of Capitol and East Michigan Avenues.
The Michigan Capitol Commission and the Lansing Board of Water and Light will develop and implement the lights for the tree, which will be officially be illuminated on November 20th.
