HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Ottawa County Sheriff’s detectives say they are looking for D’von Anthony White, a 28-year-old Holland man, after a shooting in Georgetown Township Friday, Oct. 23, 2020.
White faces three felony counts: Assault with intent to commit murder; home invasion, and possessing a firearm while committing a felony. Charges were authorized by the Ottawa County Prosecutor’s Office on Saturday Oct. 24, 2020.
Police were called to the shooting scene just after 11 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, at Brookmeadow North Apartments, 143 Brookmeadow North Lane, where they found a 27-year-old Grandville man, with a bullet wound to the abdomen. He went by LIFE Ambulance to Metro Hospital for treatment of what police called non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say the man White shot was dating White’s ex-girlfriend. She was present during the shooting, but not physically injured
