ROME (Reuters) – Italy’s centre-left is likely to hold on to its traditional stronghold of Tuscany, a first projection based on the vote count in a regional election showed on Monday, confirming an earlier exit poll.
The projection calculated by the SWG agency pointed to the centre-left candidate leading his rival from the right-wing League by 4.2 percentage points.
