LONDON (Reuters) – The weekly number of positive COVID-19 cases in England jumped 43% at the end of August compared to the previous week, the latest data from the test and trace scheme showed on Thursday.
NHS Test and Trace said on Thursday that 9,864 new people tested positive for COVID-19 in England in the week from Aug. to Sept. 2, the highest number of weekly positive cases since the Test and Trace system was launched at the end of May.
