HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – The search for a new leader of Holland’s Escape Ministries is on.
Pastor Willie Watt stepped down as Executive Director and left the organization in June, and according to AJ Westendorp, Ministry Director and overseer of the Career Connections initiative, the Lakeshore Nonprofit Alliance has come along to assist in the search process.
“It’s a really big deal, and we really want a really great candidate in here to be that next director,” he said on “WHTC Talk of the Town” during a Wednesday appearance. “We should have that interim director in here shortly, just to have some vision in the meantime while (the Alliance) conducts a national search for the best candidate to lead this pretty special organization.”
No timetable was mentioned by Westendorp for the naming of an interim leader or when a permanent executive director will be selected.
