HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A “Back the Blue” rally is set for Holland’s Centennial Park from 10 to noon Saturday, Aug. 1, 2020.
Signs or clothing expressing support for law enforcement are encouraged.
Lighthouse Baptist Church Pastor Bart Spencer is set to speak and his four adult children are scheduled to perform the national anthem and other songs.
Steve Redmond, Ottawa County Patriots’ president, is also expected to speak.
The event will include a fundraiser for the Stephen Siller Tunnel2Towers Foundation. Sillars was a 9/11 responder who died.
The foundation provides mortgage-free homes for families of first responders.
